Atrium Legacy Foundation

We believe healthy aging begins with strong, connected communities that respect and support every senior.

Our Story

Atrium Legacy Foundation was established in response to the growing needs of seniors and caregivers in today’s rapidly aging communities. As life expectancy increases, many families face challenges related to social isolation, mobility, and access to meaningful community engagement.

We recognized the importance of shifting from reactive care toward preventive, community-based support. Our work focuses on strengthening local networks, promoting wellness, and creating opportunities for seniors to remain active, connected, and valued.

Our initial focus is on Richmond and surrounding communities, where we aim to build strong, locally responsive programs. Over time, we hope to share and expand successful community-based approaches to support seniors in other regions.

To strengthen community-based support systems that promote dignity, wellness, and social connection for seniors, enabling them to live active, meaningful, and independent lives.

We envision inclusive communities where every senior is valued, connected, and empowered to contribute, and where aging is embraced as a vital and respected stage of life.
